The National Credentialing Agency for Laboratory Personnel (NCA) is a nonprofit agency that certifies laboratory personnel through nationally available phlebotomy certification examinations. It provides certification and recertification for phlebotomists. Although recertification exams are available for those who need to establish their continuing expertise, continuing education credits can also be used for recertification.
The NCA certification examinations are administered on weekdays throughout the year. The examination fee is $145.
